Season of Change

"Coneflower"
A friend and I were discussing seasons of life and how quickly time seems to be passing. Seems like I just slipped a brand-new calendar into its wooden frame a few months ago, but here it is almost a year later.

Autumn has brought such vibrant colors to the Pacific Northwest this year. I can't remember the last time I saw reds so red and golds so gold. It's like one big Kodak moment. God sure knew what he was doing when he reached for that paintbrush, didn't he?

I hope you'll enjoy today's Friday Showcase. It looks like I'm not the only one whose favorite season happens to be Autumn!

  2. Thank you for the honor of being featured in your blog amidst so much talent! It's very kind of you to encourage fellow artists. All these autumn images are so beautiful ... In particular I really find myself drawn to "Autumn Tree" by susannajarian. I can see I'll have to take a closer look at your blog. Am so glad I discovered you through you discovering me!

  3. Beautiful image of the coneflower. I see the face of a little dog in the background with the coneflower's centre as its button nose. Also - lovely work by your featured artists - kind of you to showcase them.

  9. Such pretty finds. Love the decopauged canvas.

And I just heard Christmas music on your blog, I'm not quite sure I'm ready for Christmas. It's pretty though!!!

  10. Alexa, I laughed at your Christmas music comment, because I thought the same thing. I detest going in stores in October and seeing Christmas display. I removed the Christmas music for now. (Kenny G does have the best Christmas sax music...I'll have it waiting in the wings when December arrives.)

Glad you visited. Have a good week!
